Chikumeido Take Futaoki (Lid Rest) Cast ironThis traditional white bamboo (take) futaoki (lid rest) is for kettles including tetsubin and ladles used in the tea ceremony and also works well with teapot lids. The small hole in the top helps prevent the hot lid from sticking to the futaoki as it cools by allowing airflow.
