The chest has a later rectangular top with a cross banded edge above four fielded panels flanked by two columns

Overall the candle box displays very well with fantastic colour throughout

both fully hallmarked for Camelot Silver Ltd

however the key hole has been covered with mother of pearl externally

The drawer handles and escutcheon are historic later replacements in the Louis XV taste

now illegible
