Rigotti Oboe Mandrel urbachThis stainless steel oboe reed mandrel is designed for oboe reeds with a polished African ebony handle. The mandrel tip is designed for number 2 oboe staples and is hand finished in order to ensure each tube fits snuggly.

Once the position of the adjustable stop is set you can just leave it in that position and consistently cut the tip off reeds at that length

while a reflective accent on one corner ensures visibility during nighttime commutes

there is an adjustable stop at the other end to ensure that the tip is cut of straight and this can be adjusted so that different lengths of reed can be cut

so every staple is acoustically consistent
