Specifications for E-Posters:
Kindly send your e-posters as per the specifications mentioned below to eventadmin@isbmt.org latest by 22nd April, 2024 with the name of the file as “Abstract ID – Name of Presenting Author”. For example: “99 – Surya Kumar”
The e-poster presentations will be held in Grand Ballroom 3 at the venue on May 04, 2024 (Saturday) from 05:00 PM – 06:00 PM (IST), while the e-posters will remain on display on 4th & 5th May for participants to view.
General specifications:
- There should be only ONE slide per E-poster
- File format should be Power point (.PPT/.PPTX)
- The PPT slide should be in landscape orientation in 16:9 ratio.
- The E-poster will be displayed on a standard 42” LCD TV
- Total size of the PPT slide should not exceed 5 MB
- Animation/movies/sounds will not be supported; please submit in a static PPT format only
Design specifications:
- The E-poster needs to be created as per suggestion under
- The poster title should be displayed prominently at the top of the poster, followed by the author names with affiliations.
- The text should include Aim/ Objective, Methods, Results and Conclusion.
- The poster should be self-explanatory, text should be brief and well organized.
- The typeface/ font chosen should be a simple and clear one (e.g., Helvetica/ Calibri/ Tahoma) – 28 points is a well-accepted font size.
- The correct font size depends greatly on the fonts used in the file and the thumb rule should be that if its visible well on the computer screen it shall be visible on the E-Poster Display Screen.
- Colour suggestions:
- When using light backgrounds (white, yellow, light blue) we suggest using dark fonts (black & navy blue).
- When using dark backgrounds (blue & purple) we suggest using light fonts (white or cyan).
- Avoid using red or green colour fonts or the background as they are colours that are difficult to be read.
- Illustrations/ images/ photographs used in the E-poster should be enlarged enough to show relevant details.
